A blue heron emerges quietly from a tangle of expressive marsh grasses, reflecting the majesty Bertrand sees in these birds along Louisiana's lakes and bayous. Rich blues, violets, greens, and flashes of color emphasize the bird's distinctive plumage and its connection to the shallow water landscape.
"Through the Reeds" original artwork by Opelousas, LA artist, Ted Bertrand. Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, 18" x 24".
