Lunar Moth Earrings

A cream and pink starburst flower stud anchors the top — one earring with a deep black center, the other hot pink, giving the pair a subtle asymmetry. Below, suspended from a small hoop, hangs a large iridescent moth cut from translucent acrylic. Intricate engraved line work maps the moth's wings and body in fine detail, and the material itself shifts between pale aqua, green, and cream depending on the light.

These are earrings that reward a closer look. The moth is delicate in material but substantial in presence — wide-winged and precisely rendered.

Handmade by New Orleans artist Isabelle de Joya Vea of IDJV Art and Jewelry. Lightweight and assembled by hand.
