Bold turquoise and green give this Louisiana blue crab an almost jewel-like presence against a warm coral ground. The subject connects to Bertrand's childhood memories of fishing and crabbing with his father, when trips to the Gulf were part of life in a family that embraced Louisiana's outdoors.
"Blue Claw" original artwork by Opelousas, LA artist, Ted Bertrand. Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, 30" x 30".
