Nestled in the heart of Bossier City, Louisiana, artist Carla Davis finds daily inspiration in the protected wetlands that surround her home. Her journey into the art world began over a decade ago, balancing family life and a career with the U.S. District Court. Despite not having a formal art degree, Carla's passion for painting flourished, leading her to develop a distinctive impressionistic style that captures the essence of Louisiana's wildlife and landscapes. 

Carla's work is deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of her surroundings. Her pieces often tell stories, reflecting her personal experiences and the natural beauty of the region. Working primarily with acrylics, she also explores mediums like oil and watercolor, each stroke infused with emotion and narrative.
