Originally from the Florida Keys, Sandra Attales is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in painting and drawing. She is a wife and mom of three, living and working out of her studio in Lake Charles, Louisiana. From the lush and tangled Louisiana swamp scenes that celebrate the beauty in the untamed native foliage to the imaginative nocturnal moments of her "Swamp Girl" series, Sandra's work is driven by memory and experience that speaks to the viewer in a familiar way through form and content.
